i found this out 2 months ago, it happened to me when i had a rank 3*,and 2 rank 2* mineral bearing. I think it just over loads the ankys weight reduction. it made my metal stacks weigh -6.4. but i also had a rank 2*and 1* cave bearing. When i removed 1 of the rank 2* mineral bearings the stack of metal now weighs 4.5. so i can slot cap with only 1350 weight

@tracker_593, That's unfortunate. The downside of this method is that it can only be done with dinos that are still growing, as if you remove the traits from an adult dino, you can't add them back. The advantage is that you can always remove and add them to a new dino. I hope you find a solution. Cheers!

@@Adriibiza Hello, actually I wouldn't know yet, I haven't tried it. The idea is to keep looking for the combination that works best for you. You just need to keep in mind that you need to have a weight reduction trait so the others can take on the quality.

Welp, this will get patched now. Glad I took advantage of it early. Also you're better off NOT bugging it out and instead getting it SLIGHTLY above the bug-amount. You won't be able to teleport with a negative-weight shoulder pet, and once the weight gets too into the negative, ridable creatures won't walk any more because they check the absolute value of the material. So if you're -3000 weight, and your creature only has 1000 weight, you won't be able to move with it.

@RonaldMcDonald6969, If you're using the method from the video, remember that when your dino registers negative weight, it will stop moving. That's why it's important to carry some extra weight to prevent this from happening. In my case, I always carry 600 black pearls, and this way I fill the inventory of both my ankylosaurus and my pet. Hello @Rightlane89, welcome to the channel! So far, the best place I've found to farm these Ankylosaurus traits is the Herbivore Island in The Islands. I would kill all the dinos, and within 5 minutes, more would spawn, and I kept doing this until I got the ones I needed. For a shoulder pet, I chose the Bulldog because it’s abundant in Aberration in the green zone, which makes it easier to get its traits. However, I don’t know of a specific route for farming the traits. I hope what I mentioned helps! Hugs

@CharlyYT-yo4ex Hello, to get the traits you need to have the Bod Tales DLC. Then, look for baby ankylos with the gene gun and check what type of trait each dino has. @arkedifiknowwithforgotenlo2296 I don't know how long this bug will last, but what I do know is that the bug of lowering a dino's level to 1 has been around for months and they still haven't fixed it. Everything will happen in due time. I decided to show this so that not only those with Dreadmare can travel comfortably with full weight. I appreciate your comment. Cheers!

That's correct @bigal696. Honestly, this method goes beyond farming nowadays. You can put traits on a shoulder pet, an Argy, and an Ankylo, and then just fill up the forges.

Hello @teambrandistock478, what you’re saying is true. The video about lowering a dino to level one to make it carry infinite weight has been out for over 6 months. The Dreadmare breaks the weight mechanic, and many other things have been made easier with the DLCs. That’s my opinion on the topic, which is why I decided to share it. Thank you for the comment!

hi @pesss3285, It's a really simple process, but it doesn't always work. For example, to farm the Dunkleosteus, you take it to your aquatic base, take it out of the cryopod, and bring it near a wild dino that is aggressive but doesn’t deal much damage so it hits it. The Dunkleosteus must be on passive. When the enemy starts the attack, you move as far as you can until the Dunkleosteus un-renders. Then you return, and the Dunkleosteus will be level 1. Note: If you have a TP to get far away, that's much better. Remember, it’s about trying until the bug happens. Cheers!

@range3383 That is the most common method. When you bring the dino down to level 1, it carries all the weight you want, but sometimes it doesn't work. That's why the traits help a lot. Best regards!

@@2tosplay i dont know how to explain it but ill tell you the blackbox glitch i stumble on For some reason i blackbox but im able to collect more of the same resource It looks like your not but once you unload you have way more than you can carry Like for example on our cluster the weight is like 1billion But i keep farming and i have like 700+ million resource i get back to base and dont have anywhere to unload lol I kept quiet about it I farmetal underwater collect blackpearls oil etc blackbox and still carrying more

To anyone still farming metal with a anky... invest in a dunky😂. Tested it yesterday with my tribemates just to prove my point, and I can definitely say the anky is a thing of the past. With me on a dunky and my tribemates on the anky we both started at the same time and farmed for 30 mins. I had got triple the amount of metal they did and it only took me 10 mins. I pull 20k raw ore in literally 1 min, where it took my tribemate almost the whole 30 mins to get what I got in the first 60 seconds😂. Dunky is by far the best for farming metal out of the dinos available atm and if you dont believe me go try it yourself... You wont be disappointed

@marcel.67 The center is by far the best place for metal... in abb you need 2 tames, a anky and a karkino. In center you only need 1 tame. The dunky. I have top ankys and dunkys and in 10 mins I'll triple if not quadruple what any anky could farm in its wildest dreams. I'm that's facts. Like I said if you dont believe me try it for yourself. But I'll never farm metal with anything besides a dunky again

Hello @marcuselsey2878, what you mentioned is very accurate. The Dunkleosteus is very, very good for farming. The only downside I find with this method is that the area in The Center where you can gather a large amount of metal is almost always depleted, at least that's how it is on the server I play. On several occasions, I come across other players, and because of this, it becomes difficult for me. That's why I still use the Ankylo. The one in the video is a low-level Aberrant Ankylo, but if you go with a top-level standard Ankylo, you'll see the insane amount of metal you can gather. To clarify, the Dunkleosteus is really great, but its use is limited by the area.

Hello @chrisfox6062, this method has been available since the gene pistol was released, and I've seen many people using it, both in PVP and PVE, gaining advantages over those who are unaware. This process is similar to the bugging of the Ankylo or Dunkle to level 1, but with added benefits like being able to run faster or carry more metal. In summary, it’s still an exploit that needs to be fixed. That's why I decided to share it after a long time without uploading a video, as I believe it should be addressed. Cheers!
