Outside in the field that is how we make a concrete stairs but in a factory it is way better to build the form up side down so you only have to finnish the back of the stairs manually and the steps are in the form and they will have a much better finish to the surface. Well this should cheer you up. The spray foam shouldn't be used on the roof rafters because if you get a roof leak. You'll never find it because the foam is in the way. The mold that is hiding between the roof sheathing and foam just loves the environment you created for it and will flourish un noticed for months if not years thus creating a major health hazard for anyone living under that roof and removing the spray foam is next to impossible and very costly to find the leak.
