Great reaction. KZ is one of my favorite singers. She can do so much. She had a vocal polyp as a teenager and lost the highest parts of her range, so she adapted by being creative with her song arrangements. Rolling In The Deep was KZ's first appearance on The Singer and she was voted the winner of that episode. beating out Jessie J, who is one of KZ's idols and a big influence. KZ was stunned because she considers Jessie J to be the best singer in the world. On the other hand, Royals, which was stunning, was voted the worst performance on that show and KZ was eliminated after that. I still can't figure that one out. You mentioned KZ's earrings in Rolling In The Deep. If you watch carefully, KZ lost her right earring about 30 or 40 seconds before the end of the song. She reached out with her free left hand and caught it in the air, then finished the song clutching the earring. It was so smooth that it was barely noticeable but now that I'm aware of it, I always see it.
