XY roaring skies boosters for $20 at a local card shop i just found. Best pull was a year ago from 1 of these tins from walgreens. The evolving skies Rayquaza vmax alt art

Update: There are versions of these tins that do not contain Evolving Skies. Beware, I advise if found you open a tin to check before buying more. After further research it seems a dead giveaway for repackaged tins is the wrapping on them. If the tin is wrapped around the middle with the edges exposed, it more than likely does not contain Evolving Skies! Happy Hunting!

I hit up most of the dollar generals in my area before xmas but didnt see any of these. Paldean fates mini tins and a brillant stars etb were the best finds I found on my search

Yea sometimes the finds are crazy. I ended up also finding some Brilliant Stars ETB’s and 151 poster collections in the clearance isles. The dollar generals i went to were pretty well stocked on Paldean Fates tins, lost origins, silver tempest and other things.

Another way to know if a tin is repackaged is if it mentions vstar in the description in the back. Sword and shield didn't have vstar cards, only scarlet and violet does.

@@ProxGames62 At this point I’m just ripping because I got it for MSRP and it’s pretty fun 😅. I got my hands on an Evolving Skies Booster Box and I am 100% not opening that 😆. Maybe if the stars align and I hit 10,000 subs I’ll debate opening it.

Here in Australia everything with the exception of temperal forces and scarlet and violet base set sells out stright away. It's ridiculous how understocked pokemon tcg is here.

@@stefos100 It seems to be the case here too in our bigger cities. I went to Atlanta, Georgia for a concert and stopped by so many stores (walmart, target, etc), there was literally nothing on the shelves. I guess there are perks to living in rural towns out here 🤷‍♂️.

If the tin isn't completely wrapped in plastic it will not have evolving skies. If it has only the middle covered it will have newer packs.

@@BipityBopity93 They are the Dragon Shield Matte Clear Standard size sleeves. They’re matte in the back with a glossy front. 👍🏼 It might be the camera. Overall they’re great sleeves.

buyer beware...most of these tins have now been re packaged and contain LO, ST and BS. I got these tins as well and non had Evo Skies in them

@@Origin.KZbin not that im aware of. Ive seen many others now getting pardox rift, OF and SV base in them . Seems like Evo has dried up for good.

@ After researching it a bit more it seems that the repackaged version of these tins can be differentiated by the wrapping on it. If the wrapping does not fully cover the tin it’s repackaged and won’t have Evolving Skies. Repackaged tins are wrapped around the center of the tin with the top and bottom exposed.

@@Origin.KZbin negative. They are fully wrapped and dont have evo skies. They are getting tricky. Same with the c23 tins...buyer beware. They are using c22 tin covers but only have c23 packs in them...zero evo skies
