Where I'm from we call it heavy garbage pickup and it happens every spring. Driving around to see if there's anything you want to grab is a very common activity :)

This is really pretty and fresh. I love the way the wood is so varied in color. Because of the way you layered the staining oil, it makes all the discolorations and little punctures look deliberate. Using the same treatment on the skirt and legs just increases that perception. Beautiful job, Katie!🌸

G O R G E O U S, Katie!! Love this color stain by Fusion. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone use their line of stains before and it looks beautiful on this wood grain buried under paint. Idk if you’ve even watched Furniture Flipping for Profit’s channel, but check out this week’s video she did of a patio table a friend found by their dumpster, if you have a few minutes! O M G! Besides the terrible paint job and ruined with stains, I won’t ruin the surprise of what was underneath. Thx for sharing another great curbside find turned beautiful makeover.💜

Beautiful natural color. The simplicity of the table adds a lot of charm. It is nice that you are practical about the minor flaws. Perfection and kids aren’t always compatible. My grandkids have left some interesting. marks on my table I won’t cover up. I look at them and smile.

This is beautiful Katie. This table is exactly the same one I have been using in my home school. I inherited it from my sister who painted it white which I stripped and refinished in a mid tone stain. My littles coloured and painted and learned to print on this table but now that they are older (12 and 14) I think it’s safe to refinish it again in a lighter finish. Thank you so much for the inspiration to do it.

You never know until you try!❤️ Just start with something small...and honestly I don’t take my pieces apart like some do...only if they need major repairs Try to start out with something very simple that doesn’t need any repairs...and follow the YT Channels like this one that does beautiful work...good luck!
