I noticed that all the grenades were missing their pins so I'm assuming that all the explosives have been removed from the grenades and shells. I remember years ago seeing pictures of a bunker that was uncovered that was stocked with crates of ammo and schmeiser sub-machine guns, mg42s and other weapons and gear. It was like they had opened a sealed time capsule. It had been sealed by an exploding bomb and the locals had forgotten about the German bunker until it was discovered by a farmer who was trying to clear the land. After seeing all the weapons and artifacts recovered and shown in this video I really would love to take part in finding all the lost artifacts and weapons that are still waiting to be discovered.

Nice collection especially the MP41 submachine gun at 5:02 which is very rare 12:06 that is a WW1 german helmet and next to it there is a shrapnel mine which was no longer used in World War II Some of these World War I helmets were still worn by the Finns during the Russian-Finnish war.

I have a 1936 SS Olympic Dagger but in mint condition with the chain and sheath was handed down to me it's a prized possession of mine .

In ww1, soldiers complained that bayonets did not pierce heavy coats of enemy soldiers. In ww2, the rifles used large bullets large enough to kill elephants. Big bullets are sometimes called elephant killing bullets. This way, one side made sure that an enemy soldier shot down stays down, dead. Tommy guns and sten guns used smaller bullets. Machine guns used bigger bullets, big enough to shred elephants and rhinos, and enemy soldiers and enemy civilians. Gatling guns (original machine guns) of the era of the wild west were originally designed to kill native American wild warriors, but were hardly ever used for this purpose.

My Father had a German Paratroopers collapsible Bicycle from his service in North Africa fighting the Germans/Vichy French and Italians and a Japanese Officers sword from his service in Papua New Guinea fighting the Japanese which along with his uniform and 303 rifle were donated to the local RSL Club (Returned Services League). When they moved to New Premises the German Bicycle and Japanese officers sword went missing My Father served with the 2/33rd Australian Infantry Battalion in World War 2
