PvP in this game isn’t even fun anymore. They made all of the classes flat and pointless. Mages have absorb shields to counterbalance the fact that they are squishy. All other classes get stuns and interrupts as well to balance the fact that rogues were the masters of CC. Why? No idea, but nobody is unique now, and I feel like melee classes like rogue and warrior have gotten the short end of the stick.

I've never been a fan of pillars in PvP.. Always liked the idea of pure combat, no snowflake hiding bs, just me vs opponent in a no holds barred skills match. And I know I know pillar hiding is strategic and those git-gud-bros will protest day in and day out to keep the pillars, but I look at it like real life street fighting.. fight or go home.. no running around / jumping fences to avoid a beating. Either combat like a man or stay home with mommy. Unfortunately games aren't street fights and skills are all subject to pillar hopping.

It mainly benefits melee so they don't get wrecked out in the open but can benefit casters sometimes. Without I think mages and hunters would dominate.
