First Day Back in Karachi, Pakistan 🇵🇰
This is why we keep coming back to Karachi. The city of smiles and hospitality, we were overwhelmed when our Rickshaw driver took a turn past a juice stall that we visited in 2023 and I remembered the hard-working young lad who was working there, I shouted hello and he came running after the rickshaw to greet us. We had a good chat and I gifted him a Newcastle United football top before being sold a pair of Pathan Army sunglasses. Keeping in the football spirit, we visited a local football field and had a kick around with some resilient kids playing football without any shoes on the concrete. We're getting so much good energy from Karachi and we're excited to continue more adventures here. Full video from inside Jodia Bazaar coming in a few days.

I think the guy was questioning whether you're pro-Palestine or pro-Israel. Regardless, that was an unnecessary question, and you should just ignore people like him. Even as a Pakistani, I felt uncomfortable with his comments. Thank you for being patient with the kids. I'm sure some mischievous older children taught them those words, and they likely don’t even understand what they mean. It's great that you made an effort to discourage them from using that language. Regardless, those kids were really excited to interact with foreigners, and you definitely made their day. Please be patient with some of our more naive and simple people. They don’t always know how to interact with foreigners, but they have good hearts and will never bear any ill will towards you. I hope you have a fantastic tour of Pakistan, and interact with a wide variety of people to get a good grasp of the Pakistani personality. Despite some shortcomings, I'm sure you'll find that Pakistanis are very endearing people. Thank you for your patience and open-mindedness.
