Hi Ash ,you have some great sites for fossils and some beautiful shark teeth.Wish we could find teeth like that in the UK.

Thanks so much for the kind compliment, David! It took me several years to find the sites that I now frequent. It’s amazing how rewarding it is to call a site “your own” and observe the fossils it produces throughout time! What types of fossils do your UK sites produce?

Hey just out of curiosity did the prehistoric toothed dolphins live alongside megalodon
@CharlestonFossilAdventures3 жыл бұрын
Yes, there were many toothed species alive during the Miocene with megalodon!

I took my wife's cousin to a creek near my house in Central Mississippi. When I spotted first tooth, I called him over so he could "see" what we were looking for laying in the gravel. I snapped a picture and he picked it up and put in his pocket! Every time we talk, I call him shark tooth poacher!

😂 Sounds like your cousin has a good eye, and even better hands! Here’s to many more fossils on your future trips! Thanks for watching!
