He set him up nice for that K O! A hard spinning back kick will make one drop their hands to block another, so Salikhov went to the head with the spinning hook kick. Salikhov's technique is so clean he could have ended it with either kick.

The crazy thing is a few moments earlier in the fight he did a spinning roundhouse and his opponent blocked low mistakingly but his foot whistled past his face. Now the second spinning roundhouse landed with full impact to the face and again the opponent blocked low with his hands. He must've processed that and told himself let me set that up again a bit later.
