Zillertalbahn is a 760mm gauge railway running up the Zillertal valley in Austria. However the running gauge of the railway is for standard gauge. This is because of a wood mill that receives logs in standard gauge wagons that are run on to narrow gauge bogies at the railhead depot at Jenbach. So all clearances on the narrow gauge railway clear standard wagons on a bogie. This applies on the full route so other products can transported up the valley (electrical transformers, concrete structures etc..). This is not unique as a number of Alpine railways use this technique.
