One thing brother if u'd like to answer, here in Islamabad we got alot of Afghans, there faces are distinguishable but they told me that 80% of them were Pashtuns but they look very different from our Pakhtoons. And being Pashtuns most of them can't speak Pushto they rather converse in Dari. Is it how Afghanistan is culturally or its just a thing among diaspora?

For people who don't know, Buddhists took refuge in Afghnaistan from polytheists, aka Hindus . Buddhists ran towards Afghanistan to save themselves from the massacre. Afghanistan/ Iran were followers of Zoroastrianism and Judaism and have never followed Hinduism or Buddhism.

As a Buddhist of India origin living in the USA, it is so sad to see utter destruction of the beautiful Buddha statue in the Bamiyan mountains. I appreciate you expressing sadness at seeing this senseless carnage. Changes Khan, as brutal and barbarian he was, he didn't destroy the religious relics. Truly a shameful event in human history.
