I have a question. Have you ever sent a card to upper deck? I pulled a laffy young guns, and it had rounded corners. And upper deck is telling me to send the card in to inspect. Is it safe to do that?

Double Kudos on taking shots at the Cup! I'd call it a successful break; 8 autos & 6 patch cards plus a 1of1 & 2of2 ! My fav is the red Gibson auto. Collectively & individually they are all nice cards. From a collector's view point, yes the price hikes are terrible but the hobby is not about the money. Greetings from 2022! I just subbed your channel. Nice break! That Cale Makar is a monster, the "hit of the break" for sure. My favorite card is the Oly the Goalie. It's such a beautiful card from an all-time great. Thank you for breaking these. Usually the only "The Cup" videos are from group breakers. For me, its so much more entertaining to watch people open cards for themselves. When someone has "skin in the game", You get real reactions instead of fake, way over the top, screaming. Those dudes are kinda ridiculous and cringworthy. You two are fantastic. I'm glad youtube suggested this vid.

I'm more of an SPGU fan - especially at the SPGU price point but The Cup is pretty sweet - I don't know about "$1,000 for 6 cards sweet" but definitely pretty sweet... It's certainly one of those products you gotta go all in on and break a case or don't break at all to insure you get your money out of it..

Awesome bust! Great video. Poheling a hat trick first game and shootout winner against leafs. Enjoyed that game from start of the video intro and was Bob Coles last Broadcast btw. Fell off the map a little but he is a high prospect and will be back.

While that Bobrovsky card is just outrageously sick, I am in love with that Kolzig card. He's the reason I got into hockey and the Capitals in particular. Your best bet is to pre order. On the Monday before release day week, releases are on Wednesday, Out of the box breaks opens their pre sales. Gotta monitor their website that day and pounce when you can

I have seen some duds, but those are 2 of the best I have seen so far in 2 days. That Makar is really awesome, but being a goalie guy myself I'd be stoked for the BOB - but that Gibson is insane.

My favorite card(s) of the break are the Makar followed by the Dach... All of the patches are pretty sick tho.. I mean I'm not much of a fan of printing plates, lol. They're just too unique for me, unless it's a player I PC, then it's ok. Also, if you're looking for some cards for your PC and that Dach is available, I think I could help you out. I'm a Hawks fan and PC Dach so, yea if you're interested in moving that card reply I suppose.. If it matters I have 1.3-1.5 million cards, and plenty of high end cards - no junk - vintage to the present so I'm confident I have something that would interest anyone, lol....

If you have the money then obviously it’s a great option. But if you’re just looking to start a collection you can use $1000 dollars for some boxes of series 1/2 to get some young guns, and maybe some spa to pick up some future watches. Those are really the staples of collecting if you’re looking for rookie cards
