This is insane. It's not just the pace either. It's how early they take the ball. Federer looks like he's hitting every shot as a half-volley and he's still crushing the ball.
@kieranrankie2033 жыл бұрын
Federer's the best in the world at being super aggressive and taking the ball early.

Crosby4hyg Don't have a definitive answer but I imagine it has a lot to do with sponsorship and air time coverage.
@Lucian869 жыл бұрын
Crosby4hyg simply because a higher and wider camera has a better view for the spectator.
@Crosby4hyg9 жыл бұрын
TLC I don't agree, the higher and wider camera does a very poor job of illustrating the actual pace of the ball and the different spins the players utilize.
@Lucian869 жыл бұрын
Crosby4hyg It doesn't have to. You didn't understand. The view is better, not the pace

@Favizzy9 жыл бұрын
It moves fast and this video doesn't even do it justice - if you check his channel for Del Potro vs Grigor match point, that'll give you an incite to how fast they strike this ball. Bare in mind this isn't even the fastest court, in New York the courts are much faster and Wimbledon is incredibly fast.

Very cool POV. We can even better see their world class level but their human side as well. Thanks for the upload. Using 0.25 speed, we can clearly see how they anticipate well the game and how they have a good timing and balance in all their strikes. I also can see all their work of hiding intentions to the rival, especially Roger. alll tennis is here and thanks to technology, We can learn ton of things with it

I love that governing tennis bodies aren't obnoxious like the PGA is re: personal recording. I've been to a couple of PGA events and they are ridiculously oppressive about even using your cell phone for an occasional photo of a pro. They want to own every single piece of photo/video taken at any one of their events, to the point where they'll try to take your phone from you. USTA events on the other hand are much more relaxed, as they should be.
