The reason there's distrust of foreigners in Ireland is because the English colonizers created a culture of distrust. Look up the history of the oppression of the Travelers. Look up why the Irish wear shamrock green on St. Patrick's day. Even today there is discrimination against those of Irish heritage in England. The fact that you would ignore that history and try to pin it on being grumpy about the weather is so grossly ignorant. And despite the conflict of the past, there are a lot of Irish people who are progressive and welcoming of others. Even the government has been changing policies toward progressive ideals. They legalized gay marriage. Divorce is now legal. There is a lot more to Irish history than you seem to think.

Yeah, I was watching an Indian movie, though can't remember which cause I watch a lot, and I saw this very particular Romani/gypsy dance move. Very specific move, that and I turned to ask Ma "wtf, this is our gypsies' dance!" Lol I was ofc fascinated as it started dawning on me exactly when Mom said "ofc?! Didn't you know they were in fact Indians who emigrated very long ago?! I was like 😵😲😨😳😊😍 Lol and they have kept their Indian look too, most of them. Both physically and culturally. The women's dance outfits can sometimes be very telling. I was mad at myself for not realizing that earlier. Great to have them :-) You have some crazy, creative, beautiful dances. The real folk musicians like those with kind of sufi mindset donot sell their music for money from tickets, they get the means for their livelihood through the coins offered them by the real connoisseurs among the passersby who stop on their tracks hearing to this enchanting soulful music. Florin, I think is a musician of that kind, presenting his music to the entire world rather than at costly concerts with highly priced tickets
