You did the right thing. If a town stops it’s overnight sleeping, bin it, drive on, spend nothing and spend elsewhere. Let the local businesses put pressure on the council to reverse it. Otherwise in 5 years, as the places left become intolerably busy, they too will do the same and it’ll be official sites and charged pub parking only.

I hate the small towns that change the car parks to no overnight parking, we do the same and move on...unfortunately the local businesses lose out and drinks in pubs and food also. Great one again Field..
