Incredible Sinker/Ram EDM

Carl Sommer, president of Reliable EDM, demonstrates the incredible capabilities of Sinker/Ram EDM. Sommer is standing in a sinker machine whose table is larger than a ping pong table and holds over 60 barrels of oil. He describes how the vertical Z axis of the machine can go up, down, and orbit, while the X and Y axis move. This capability allows Sinker/Ram EDMs, with programable Z axis, to machine parts that no other machine can do. The video also demonstrates how sinker EDMs remove metal.
