Having a significant disability, stairs are always an issue for me. We’ve ruled out rigs because the constant internal stairs are just too much for me. I get the rear entry / mudroom takes up space but a break in the stairs plus not needing to do any stairs while actually in the unit…. Genius! A great unit to take a deeper look at. Thanks for all you do!!!

I totally agree with Cheri. After 9 foot/ankle surgeries I have issues with stairs, including nerve damage that makes stepping down treacherous. If ever possible I'd love to see a lift equipped version. Winnebago has one and theirs is the only one I've seen. This one unit could be ideal for both my husband (6'7") and myself!

Ill bet a electric lift could be easily mounted to back end for easier entry. Mounted to frame and fold up when not in use. Using linear actuator and lift capacity to 300 lbs. Then viola your in business

Love this floor plan, absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I'd like to have. Once you are on board, there's no more stairs. No extra couches that I don't need. Best of all - the mudroom itself. So much easier to keep the rig clean and coats and shoes out of the way. Great solutions, very well done 👏

The entry way would be a good place for utility room with a washer and dryer, and add some wall cabinets because there is a lot of wasted room in there. I would be interested in a 46' model with triple axles and a comfortable carrying capacity of 4,000+ pounds. with a little longer utility room so a full sized washer dryer set could be be set on a raised floor with storage underneath and overhead.

Great design I love the privacy of the door being at the end where people can’t see into your window that’s on your door I like the fact that it’s one level all the way through love love love the little mudroom as you enter in. It just makes everything that much more separate and cleaner, love the fact that you guys have a washer and dryer hook up and still remain to have great space excellent job

You would definitely want to make sure you are perfectly level towing this thing at 13’6” I’ve recently gone under multiple 13’9” bridges on the interstate in Memphis and in New York

I love it. The only thing that I would ask for would for there to be shelving where the mudroom is on the back wall. I know for me and my partner we would use that for all of our shoes. That way the dirt never came into the house. Perfect use of that mudroom space.

Sliding bathroom doors would be nicer to have in the RV. Nice to see the washer/dryer in its own closet not taking up space in the regular bedroom closet. Nailed it with the bedroom TV hidden away. Nice ceiling height inside the whole RV. Nice extra large storage underneath is awesome.

Only thing I will say is they should do 1 15k A/C in the rear because 1 13.5k unit isn’t enough to cool my 40ft rig but my 15k can cool my entire rig without the 13.5k. Running 2 units is a lot louder than running 1 is all I’m gonna say…

It’s really a nice rig. That kitchen sink is the stuff of dreams! I love the fact that there isn’t any carpet. We’re full time and our rig has carpet in the two rear slides and the bedroom and I hate it! I have to have a vacuum just to clean about 15 square feet when I can just use wet/dry swiffers to clean everything else. We had a water leak so we’ll be replacing the subfloor in most of the rig and that carpet will be gone when we’re done!

I love this unit! I also have an issue with steps. The mud room is an absolute dream! The way it is open to the living area makes it feel so spacious! The space behind the tv is incredible! The shower is amazing! The storage above the wardrobe is totally awesome! The basement storage is something I have never seen before, absolutely huge! Fantastic job! Great design, great video! 😊

Last year the same guy called the AC unit new and revolutionary. This year he says it is old technology that doesn’t work. I bought the unit last year and have major problems with the AC working in Texas heat. Columbus has not helped with a solution, in fact they claim the AC is working great. I added a portable AC just to have the temp somewhat bearable.

I like the layout with the rear side door and the mud room which you could also use like a sitting or reading room while someone was watching TV. Loads of storage and many possibilities. Great review👍🇨🇦

Hey Jd hope you're having a great Sunday. This is the first time I have seen a River Ranch. I love the design of this unit. The steps being at the back of the unit going into a mud room that's cool. Then you have all the living spaces. It amazes me that the ceiling height through out the whole fifth wheel is 7 foot. A spacious bathroom an bedroom, it just blows me away. The bedroom is just amazing with the electric fireplace space heater an the tv on a televator, plus all the closet space that you have. This unit is awesome and amazing. I ABSOLUTELY love the mud room and if in the market for a non toy hauler or as i call them lifestyle rv, this unit would be at the top of my list.The storage is so big they should have some pull out but removeable drawers for easy access to both gear and any maintenance of this unit.

I absolutely LOVE the herringbone design on the entry and island!!!!! Finally, someone who knows modern design. Only thing I would add would be the coveted 2 tone kitchen cabinets in the color bone or nude for top cabinets and a sage or celadon for bottom cabinets with gold hardware and feature side of the island. Once designers catch up to the two tone color scheme, with this herringbone style features………. RV’s will SKY ROCKET of the lots. Great job Columbus!

I would’ve liked to see more of the bedroom. The previous years RR bedroom had very little walking space alongside the bed. Which was one the the dealbreakers for us. But I LOVE that mud room!!❤

Hey JD, did Ron Brown mention any remediation for the existing River Ranch owners that suffer through the Air Excel A/C? Just curious about Ron stating that the basement A/C was old technology and not sufficient to properly cool the RV. My River Ranch just came back from the factory supposedly fixed.

Cool design with the rear entry. I'd like to see some kind of emergency exit toward the front of the trailer similar to a what Newmar has in their motorhome. (it could be in the hallway) That is a serious drop from an emergency window with no ladder.

I like the mud room, but with it on the end, I would feel claustrophobic in the bedroom with no close exit. I know there are exit windows, but I’m a bit old to hike myself and animals up through a window that’s up in the air.

What kind of roof and exterior seams and corners does that have? Exactly what kind of wall structure? Vacuum-infused epoxy e-glass/foam core sandwich? How much insulation, for -40 degree winter nights? How about a rear loading door of some sort, to enable long items to be occasionally transported?

With the River Ranch 391MK we are interested to know what could be accessed with the slides closed? Being that the steps and door are located at the back of the rig, if traveling is it possible to make it to the bathroom, bedroom and maybe the refrigerator if all the slides are closed? Also, what is the length of the basement storage? Wondering if kayaks could be slide in under there? This unit is awesome and we are extremely interested in walking it and feeling it. Hoping this will be at the Tampa RV Show in 2023. Also, I am wondering how my 2022 GMC 3500 SRW Denali would handle it? I am not wanting to buy a new truck, however this unit checks a lot of our blocks for a couples unit to do some longer trips. Great video! Keep em coming!

Love the mud room idea. But, how is bathroom access with the opposing slides and kitchen island? I’m assuming there must be access since you have to get to the control panel to put slides out but it would be nice to see with slides closed to see how much.

Beautiful unit but has my number one issue. In the bathroom the floor vent is next to the toilet. I hate to admit it, but us boys are messy. I can easily see urine splashes in the vent. This has eliminated several otherwise nice units from my shopping list, and has eliminated this one. I love the design and layout. If it wasn't for the vent this would be on a very short list for us.

At 3:42 you said, "It's overkill. Your axle capacity exceeds your GVWR". This is laughable. The GVWR is 15,999 lbs and it has two 8,000 lb axles. My math says that is ONE POUND of difference. I wouldn't call that "absolutely amazing" as you commented.

It's an outstanding looking 5th wheel. Maybe I was being short in my comment above, but NOBODY wants to store a wet sewer hose inside of their trailer. A 5th wheel of this quality should have a hose storage something like the Mount-n-Lock unit.
