Overlanding is just a word 😂 its funny how it triggers some folks... talking about being toxic. If I remember correctly it's started in South Africa...they travel across the landscape on multiple day expeditions. They sleep on their RTT...hence the name over land. You do you and let everyone kick sand 😅.

society is so toxic and so are some of the people in these circles. A lot of people really into backpacking like to poopoo truck camping so much so that I think the term "overlanding" was created to make it seem cool again. At the end of the day overlanding is just truck camping lol

Yeah for sure! I think Overlanding is a mostly online term. When we talk about it offline I just call it camping.
