@@maitlandjohnson85 I enjoyed "The Nightingale"more. Don't get me wrong it is a good book, but certain recurring, traumatic events leave you with a mash of emotions, especially as it can be a trigger for people who have experienced these things.

I was shocked that so many people disliked Aurora Rising. I totally Lovvvvvvvvved it! I mean it’s not fine literature, but it’s a really fun ride. I listened to the audiobook too-so many that was part of why i loved it so much

If you really like Aurora Rising, you should really look into reading Red Rising. It's adult sci-fi but its very character driven, the descriptions are amazing and all the pew pew is great too
