Violet's power is more of an electromagnetic field control, hence the forcefields and the invisibility (you know, light, photons, yaddi yaddi yadda) But she barely has used them in her life. She hasn't had any chance to train, that's why she can't make a giant dome around things bigger than a few people. But she doesn't seem to be able to control the field itself, so she wouldn't be able to toss it anyway. Jack Jack could be a great help for that, since he moves the trash can lid with his mind, and the evil glasses. A strong combo. But for that, they both need years of training and learning about themselves.

I think her power is ultraviolet control. Her force fields I don’t think are electric. See uses ultraviolet light to go invisible and control ultraviolet light to maybe condense it into shields. Violet and Dash’s names are given based on their powers.

I think it was a combination of some being dead and others deciding to leave the hero work behind (at least temporarily to avoid making things worse) Idk the exact timeline but the first few heroes went unnoticed. In the first movie, he realized himself that all the heroes he thought were missing were actually dead 😅

For the powers of the kids, their names are a little hint to what they are. Violet has control of ultra violet rays, so she can make herself invisible and make shields. Dash is obvious, he dashes. And Jack Jack is a Jack of all trades, he can use a mix.

Can I recommend you to watch Prince of Egypt by Dreamworks (1998)? It is about the Biblical story of Moses but both religious and non religious people can enjoy it!! The animation is stunning, mostly traditional hand-drawn 2d animation mixed with a bit of cgi sometimes, lots of symbolism in the animation, the music (ost and songs) is AMAZING, the story is bittersweet and the relationships and characters are humane and complex… for me it is pure cinema. Btw, I just subscribed to your channel I just love how you just feel each movie, the music…
