I'm a sixty two year old grandma that loves a good animated movie! Absolutely enjoyed 'The Incredibles' with my kids and now my grandkids. But what I love most of all Tony Baker is you, everything you do cracks me up, out here doing your thing with your lavish self! Everybody talks about Jack-Jack and Edna being the scene stealers, but nobody praises Frozone!! He was NICE...he had more screen time, he was smooth as hell and was putting in work every time the Incredibles needed it. *Spoiler Alert* ...... That man was integral in stopping a big ass Tank-Drills and a whole ass cruise ship.

Cars sold more merchandise than any other Pixar property before frozen. That influenced the decision for sequels.? Toy sales dictate everything from transformer sequels to cartoon season renewals!

chancey hendrix most people don't understand this about cartoons. All of the classic 80s cartoons (even my beloved Robotech) were toy driven. Having said this, they should STILL be ashamed for waiting 14 years. It was CLEARLY an excellent franchise. Ha ha!

4.5 sax is a bit high for Incredibles 2. It was not as good as the first, the first got 9.5/10 for me. This sequel is 8/10 which is still better than 90% of the movies out there. There were weaknesses such as benching Dash for most of the movie, the main villain was a rehash and not even a formidable one (Looked like the girl from Megamind and a rip on Royal Pain from Sky High)....I'm surprised nobody else picked up on that. Underminer would have been a better villain here. At least it's det up for a 3rd one.

Happy I- still-am-on- a - Incredibles High ! Great review from my favorite KZbinr Tony who is INCREDIBLE!! I couldn't wait to hear your exciting refreshing viewpoints on my beloved film. Thank you for your hilarious keeping it real review! The Incredibles 2 lived up to my high expectations and more. Terrific, action-packed superhero sequel was worth the wait. I just hope I don't have to wait another 14 years for a follow-up. It did a great job of balancing comedy and drama. My inner 5-year-old was delighted while appealing to my adult sensibilities! It was very relatable movie!! I love the first film and this one was a great follow up. It is very funny ( jack-jack fight was lol my favorite scene of the movie) , intense with great action sequences, (creepy heart-pounding fight with Elasticgirl) and heartwarming themes of family, teamwork, courage, communication, and perseverance -- and how easy it is to be manipulated by the screens all around us . Everyone had strong performances and their moments to shine. I am glad Elastic girl was the focal point because it was engaging and interesting to watch her struggle being the mom/wife and superhero. The reverse roles storyline was solid and realistic. Loved the character development, diversity and jack jack who is the MVP of the movie!!! My only criticism would be unnecessary curse words which rare for a Disney-label film to be rated PG for mild language. I thought overall the movie was INCREDIBLE pun intended lol and extremely enjoyable!!! As always stay positive and keep smiling and have a wonderful week Incredible fans!!!! I see you in 2067 for Incredible 3 lol!!

Southeast Daygo619 see my son is known for that. He got up in the middle of the movie to pee. Before we went in we found the nearest restroom and all of the routes to it. He knows the rules of the public restrooms. Had to train him...not missing anymore scenes on his account.

Great review and great movie. Well worth the wait. We do need more of Frozone and Honey. They are hilarious. I love Brad Bird doing Edna. Yes I also thought Edna was Linda Hunt too, darling. Jack Jack makes the movie. Elasta girl has curves so dads won't fall asleep during the movie. Lol. Hopefully Brad Bird can get the crew together for a third much sooner than another 14 years.

I thought that as well. I watched the first movie again a couple of days ago. Jack Jack was so high up in the air that they couldn't see Jack Jack using his powers against Syndrome. So they actually don't know from the first movie. Elastgirl even says she can't see what's going on and that's when she asked Mr. Incredible to throw her up to the plane.
