I am one of the customers waiting. I was so happy to stop mine in the line up for them to provide a home for those that need a roof, not a tent. I have lost a home from flood before and then fire finished it off with my 3 children still under my care. I have been their before. I am proud to give my Blessings on all this. Thank you Lowes. ❤ Thank you ITH, Randy,Amanda, and the crew making it happen. Those poor people are suffering and dying of hypothermia. Last week there was an 18 month old baby that died from the cold. After Lowe’s gets out the 50 homes and there are still families out there that still need shelter, the ITH comunity should raise funds for more homes to be built. I would be willing to contribute to that cause myself. Create a go fund me to build more incredi boxes for the rest of those in need. ITH please take that into consideration. This choked me up. These people have been abandoned by the government. My parents are from WNC and buried at Bethabara cemetery in Hayesville NC. And I'm glad you mentioned that about certain people out there doing videos talking about how the homes that they're building are not being allowed to be given to the people that need them. Like y'all said I don't know what's going on with that, but I did think of that immediately when I saw that you all were doing this. With lowe's . I'm one of those looking into the possibility of living tiny, and I'm just in love with what you all do. And you're incredible, tiny hometown, I've just never ever been to Tennessee and traveling with 2 dogs and leaving my kitties behind is really not an option, but I'd love to come for a visit. I've never even stayed in a tiny home. Although I have stayed in a cottage way back in the day with my husband when we were just newlyweds. I'm looking for community but also I want to bring something to the table that would help with the community. And I wish I was there to help you all build these homes for these unfortunate folks that really do need them now in the cold, but just in general.❤ bless you all and bless the hands of those that are helping build these homes for others.

I suspected that this might be what the Wednesday Surprise might be, and I'm SO THRILLED to see that it IS! Kudos to Lowe's and ITH for making this happen! What a great thing to be a part of, especially coming up on Christmas like it is. This will change a lot of those poor flood victim's Christmas from being that 'horrible Christmas after the hurricane' into maybe just a 'different Christmas after the hurricane'. Years from now, some who are now children will grow up and say "Hey, Y'all remember that Christmas after the hurricane when we got to go stay in a Tiny Home?!" Nothing can replace everything they lost, but at least the outpouring of help can warm their hearts. And putting a Christmas Tree in each one is a beautiful touch!! ❤❤❤
