First, respect for a fellow canuck who will jerry-rig the fuck out of anything. Second mad respect for doing this, I always wondered how DIY one could do a tube amp. Thridly, I love your Donner guitar. You keep doing you man, with your lowcost good music. That's what it should be like.

Heck yes. Not trying to be a rock star or some air head super celeb, just a guy with a guitar and a few ideas. Good times bro.

I thought you said you would link the parts? I recently bought a Boss Katana amp to replace my fender modeling amp and a Pevee amp. I was going to use the old amps on the wall of my man cave as speakers but know I will try to tube them. your amp sound great.

Search Amazon for “6j1 diy tube amp kit” and “PAM8403 audio amplifier” and “EQ tone board”. I wouldn’t recommend any particular seller because their prices fluctuate wildly and by the time a person clicks the links, prices are sure to have changed. They’re modular components, so it’s mostly a matter of setting up input voltages and arranging the parts in whatever order sounds best to you. For example, you might find that putting the EQ before or after the 6J1 preamp changes the sound in a nice way. Good luck bro, they’re incredibly low cost, but very high on the fun rewards.

sounds pretty cool. But where is the output transformer?
