I love this RV! For the first time ever I feel like I could afford a brand new Coachmen on a Mercedes’ chaise! I do agree with Andrea about that “entertainment center.” I think it should be turned into a pantry instead.

Matt you know how I feel about you and your videos but you're better than that, what I'm trying to say is you should be able to review any RV exactly the way you see it and the way you truly and honestly feel about that RV. When it comes to an RV Matt you know your sh_t and viewers have faith in you to be as honest as you possibly can be, your RV crew and your fans really listen to you and they believe in you to tell them the good things and the bad things about an RV no matter what so please Matt always remember what I told you before that people fell in love with you and your videos when you first started making videos way back at Leo's in Maryland and you have always been honest with your fans and viewers so please stay that way bcuz we love you just like you are sweetie....

Hi Matt and Andrea! I agree with your dislikes. The refrigerator is too small. And that tv not in a good place up it out. My likes are the big windows and the dinette. Like the window in the bunk. Thank you Matt and Andrea for showing this Prism Coachmen.

2 things. I hope propane quick connect doesn't stick out like that at all times. Will soon be damaged or catch on everyone who walks by that area. Second thing is the dinette as a bed. If that is what it converts to, I would love to see how an adult fits in it.

The doors are really only decorative. The TV slides into that space. No true need for them to open.

Dislikes: Weather strip hanging out the door looks cheap; Entertainment center is junk; refrigerator way too small; I'm 6'3" tall and that bed would not work. Pass on this one.

This coach is meant for grandma and grandpa to travel on weekends and vacations, in that context it is great! It wasn't meant for extended travel by snowbirds or full-timers. I that context I think that Coachmen hit a homerun!!!

Dinettes in smaller RVs/Campers are a HUGE waste of space. At least there should be a free-standing table and not a knee buster. TV in a slide which takes up way too much storage, and with horrible placement to begin with, plastic toilet? C'mon man. Hard no on this one.

Had to laugh at the coincidence. Watched it 3x! Very interesting TV placement. I don't remember the electric one. Not a fan of the refrigerator nor the toilet position but not deal breakers. I like the windows, counter space and the "idea" of the swivel TV. Nice RV for a week or weekend now and then.

Aight so here we go with a nice looking B+ (mini C) .:. Cockpit area 👍🏽 well appointed, high end seats, swivel; exterior storage 👍🏽 lots of it; decent bathroom (even though we need to option the porcelain) 👍🏽 big shower; huge bonus overhead bunk 👍🏽 800 lbs, sleek style .:. MSRP is the same $ as my favourite full size class C on sale 👎🏽 we get a lot more space and a king bed in the full C #vanlife ; no kitchen kudos 👎🏽 fridge is waaaaaaaaaay too small; black front bumper just paint it already 👎🏽 paint the appliance access covers while the sprayer is pressurized - the look is well short of the price point .:. Gets by on boondock 👍🏽, barely, 👎🏽 boondock is king in a B(+) .:. thanks for the great review M/A

I couldn't help but wonder as you were struggling with the TV and making reference to prior years electric, Coachmen has the Prism and the Prism Elite. I wonder if the electronic control and other features were reserved for the premium model. I quickly glanced at the Coachmen web site and confirmed on 360 view for both, the Elite model not only doesn't have the footswitch/lock for the panel, but also has an electric fireplace below the TV. My biggest issue is the folding mattress which is right at the waist and would definitely impact sleep comfort. Coachmen doesn't offer a murphy bed floorplan but the mattress issue is screaming for it with the slide already there. Another difference that has me leaning towards the Elite is it has a two piece refrigerator/freezer and stainless steel, not single door wall camouflaged.

I see these as a niche market that is not mine. For what it is, it's ok. While it is nice the bed holds 800 lbs, the CCC is 1300. Once you add in people and water, you can carry your favorite box of tissues (half full only). The price is in line with a B+, just not my cup of tea.

This is my favorite Prism model!! With the bed slide , a U shape dinette & a bunk over the cab. That's a decent Mercedes CCC! Over 1,000 lbs. I was hoping to see the TV slide out like Matt. Bummer... + I love the window shades (no valances)! + Coachmen = Azdel! Yeah 4 Azdel! + Swivel front seats are perfect viewing for the TV + Side splash by the stove 👎 The way the entertainment center comes out. They should have left it as it was 👎 The fridge is way too small 👎 The bunk over cab is pretty small for a person, but it could be used for storage, maybe with bins.

Can anyone out there tell me where I could run CB coax from the ladder along the top of the roof I’m thinking of putting a scanner/CB antenna on a mirror mount bracket on the ladder that goes up to the roof just can’t figure out where to run the coax to the inside of the motorhome without drilling any holes anywhere on the roof or body. It's a small unit so it can't have everything, but I agree with your likes and dislikes on this one. The nice sized dinette is a plus for me. It gives the small RV flexibility for ample places to sit as well as using it as a bed or lounge area. I want a smaller Class C RV but after seeing the alternatives for beds, I think I'm back to considering one with a corner bed. I know I'm probably in a minority, but I just don't like the fold up nor Murphy beds. The cost is also too much for my budget.

Like the Mercedes chassis and features for that, like the u-shaped dinette, but that is about it. I don't like the TV because you can't move about the RV and have it on. You can't watch it in bed unless you sleep with you head at the foot and if it is a couple one has to be up on your side to see over the head of the other. bathroom too small, fridge too small, I would give-up space for the u-shaped dinette and the entertainment slide to have a pantry.

Likes: Roof ladder, tankless water heater, and bunk over the cab. Dislikes: Broken weather stripping at the base of the rv door, twist lock exterior storage doors, exposed water connections, power cord is not permanently attached, accordion blinds, tv cabinet doors that rub the cushions, and the dangerous step down from the bedroom.

Floor plan is nice. What's with the drawer under one side of the dinette and not the other. The doors don't even open the same way. That tv wall pullout is a disaster. You can't even open the doors because the dinette seat cushion is too high. That thing is a pain in the ass right up until it falls apart. Shame on them. Refrigerator and bathroom are what they are, sub par. I would be afraid of what I can't see underneath and behind drawers. No no no way. Price? Don't even get me started on that one.

I can’t believe I’m saying this…..but I really like these guys! Normally I don’t like high energy, slightly histrionic, excessively chipper salespeople. And I definitely don’t like people who repeat a person’s name over and over. But somehow, these folks make it work. I think I like the rapport they have with each other. And by the end of the video I felt like I’d just done an in-person walk through with a pair of my particularly wacky friends who (odd though they may be) are well loved. I liked that they dinged the things that they didn’t like. Hey - they have a right to their opinion! (Personally, I like the narrow fridge). And super kudos to them doing this in 106 degree weather! Better you than me, mate! Thank gawd for KZbin!
