I’d like to imagine this whole song canonically happened in the Express universe by complete accident. And it was all started by McDee, who I’m assuming is the conductor, while having his mind elsewhere, started unconsciously going Chuga Chuga to a beat presented by the train. This got picked up by the rest of the crew one by one and boom, rhere’s the whole song. Even Careen who I’m assuming wasn’t even on the train, couldn’t help but be involved. Express is one of if not the most unique mod in modding history, there are mods that tackle an ominous style like this, but this one takes the cake at being the best. Especially effect 4 they CARRY the theme Also which is Melody 1’s actual design, because there is 2 and I can’t tell which is the canon one, im genuinely curious (Not simping haha..)

So I looked at Bublin’s animation carefully and as my intuition told me, turns out all the letters he flickers are the actual notes of his melody. That's just the side effect of having 20 sounds playing together. The mod is not meant to be played like this, so there's no doubt some sounds are gonna get drowned out.
