I can't thank you enough for valuable information provided. I'm a final year engineering student with electronics background, building a cost effective, low-cost standalone dual incubator which can be deployed easily in rural areas . Do an infant required an external ventilator in any situation, or in-built ventilation system is enough ? Is it required for an incubator to be placed in a clean room like NICU ?

Temperature is maintained by circulating warm air inside which might increase pressure slightly. This will prevent decompression of stomach.
