2:02 , NCTE makes statutory body on 17th Aug 1995 not in 1993. NCTE came into existence as a statutory body in pursuance of the NCTE Act 1993.✓

I know this has no relevance to the vid, but read this. And by all means read the actual page on NCTE if you think Im purposefully removing context: “The time has come to *decenter* *book* *reading* *and* *essay* *writing* as the pinnacles of English language arts education. Speaking and listening are increasingly valued as forms of expression that are vital to personal and professional success, and with the rise of digital media technologies, they now occur in both synchronous and asynchronous formats…” This to me looks like the NTCE is looking to have teachers laze around by having their students just use their phones in class and at home to exercise their reading ability under the guise of “learning literature” just to learn about the world from a left-wing POV by telling them what to focus on and where and where not to look.(And yes Im saying this based on much of what I read from the full page) PLEASE tell me there is a Liberal here that sees this as COMPLETE abandonment of objective non-partisan education in favor of dedicated indoctrination into a left-wing adult life!!! PLEASE tell me there is someone here that is against some level of this in SOME capacity. Btw, just to let you guys know(as a Right-winger) that Im not being unfair, Im a DeSantis fan living in FL, but I actually dont approve of his policy of teaching “the evils of communism” in school ciriculum. While that may be a good doctrine to teach, it is indoctrination nonetheless.
