I mean the R46 are not retiring next year, because the R46 are still on the N Q and W, and the R211s have to go on those lines, however ima miss the R46 cuz they are my main best train model along with the R211

At the current rate of R211s entering service, the R46s will be fully retired by late 2027 or early 2028.

This will probably be the last time when we hear GE propulsion systems when the r46 leave for the BMT/IND division, we still have the R62s from the 3 line that has the same propulsion like the r46s. They’ll be best last remembered cars of having 75 ft.
