The so-called "Commonwealth" Games are about as popular as a fart in a spacesuit, so why does the unelected list msp Anas Sarwar get to pronounce Glasgow taking on the poison chalice as a "No-brainer"?
There will never be any English flamingos nesting on the southern edge of Loch Lomond. The national park & its vast natural beauty, will remain unmolested by foreign cut price theme parks. All due to a decade of Scots resistance & public anger.
57% of us want a new Independence ballot, after the huge UK anti- independence onslaught by three UK parties, English controlled newspapers making illegal vows & the UK state propaganda monopoly only just managed to force Scots to drop opposition to the union in 2014. Yet the demand to exercise our UN right to leave the union is now even stronger. Almost 6 out of 20 voters demand a new ballot.Inde-dination quick is just below:

Funny how Sarwar says he doesn't care about how many Labour members there are, when I remember how he and Dross kept badgering the SNP, bringing a FOI request to find out how many members the SNP had, so that the unionists could crow about SNP losing support...

I've just had an eMail from Ross Greer - 'Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park’s board has just unanimously rejected Flamingo Land’s daft and disastrous proposals for Loch Lomond. This is a huge victory for the local community, for nature and for Scotland. Every one of the 155,000 people who objected to this application played an important role in securing today’s rejection. ' Gordon, you were the person who told me about this so that my name could be on the objection signatures. So well done, you!

Asus Sarwar works above his station and probably believes he is going to be the new first minister. He is unelected, and this should be pointed out as often as possible and the labour failings for those down south. All he can do is complain about our NHS, which is the best in the UK! About time, the SNP slapped him down and put him in his place. He is becoming an embarrassment!

I will say this for the SNP - they show respect for others whether or not they agree with them. They probably say nothing to Sarwar because they expect him to realise his bad behaviour and stop it and they don't feel that they should have to. I would far have preferred that Westminster SNP had shown Hoyle and Starmer the exact treatment they deserved when the Labour Party stole the SNP's day for putting forward a motion. But I have more or less said this to Murray who sadly is my MP and he just thinks the Labour Party can do what they want.

When I lived in Dublin, after the huge success of the interval performance of Riverdance as part of the EU Song Competition, Ireland seemed to be considered as a prime spot to host it again and again, and Ireland had to admit that after a few years as host they couldn't afford to win the host spot again. These things provide great population entertainment opportunities but they do cost money and these days money with governments is really stretched. I suppose people can allow that the idea of independence as something that is frightening, but surely with the last UK government and now with the current one the risk of independence seems, to me, appealing even if just a move away from the bad treatment Scotland has received. As brought up in The Two Davies, yesterday, if Salvo does get UN agreement that Scotland has the right to vote to end colonisation, we still need a mechanism which allows that vote to be conducted and no one seems to feel that there are many of Scotland's political parties are up to that - I think the ISP is the best but whether they want to, I don't know.

All former colonies of Great Britain have had financial issues since gaining Independence. Scotland would be no different, you just have to see where we're at with 17 years of SNP financial mismanagement and inept government. Scotland would be bankrupt. Wouldn't even be able to pay benefits and pensions for more than one fiscal year.

As an Irish man Gordon your complete arrogance and lies about British imperialism is sickening Scotland gleefully carried out the crimes of colonialism in Ireland and India most of India’s governors were Scot’s and the main reason Scotland joined the union was to gain access to Englands empire since Scotland failed to create its own so don’t lie and act Scotland is a colony because it isn’t and never was it was just as much of a coloniser as England was

Scotland didn't want to join with England, some very wealthy and greedy aristocrats did and sold my country down the river, against the wishes of the ordinary populace. The ordinary people of both Scotland (and England) didn't get a say but there were riots and demonstrations in both nations. The English also sent a standing army up to the border and their navy to our coastline just to 'persuade' us. The situation then, and currently, is a lot more complex than you're making out.

@@eleanorbarrie3527 I know this mate my argument was that Scot nationalist like to pretend Scotland is a colony oppressed by England that is being held against its will like India or Ireland was but that it’s completely false as Scotland gleefully committed many atrocities in Ireland and India and profited greatly from looting India alot of the wealth Scotland has was due to the wealth that was looted out of India so Scotland isn’t a colony nor has it been it was a willing participant in imperialism and was Englands partner in crime when it came to empire

Oh Gordon, your typical ridiculous rant! 65% of votes cast in 4th July general election were for candidates opposed to another referendum.. Remember that according to Scottish government own figures Scotland has a 10.4 % fiscal deficit compared to 4.5 % for UK,which renders independence and any Scottish currency totally economically unviable. Virtually every opinion poll last 2 years show solid majority for No,last one was 59/41 % No. Scotland more than played its roll in Empire,it was a British empire, not an English empire. Most European countries had empires and British empire was no better or worse than other ones. Our last PM was from a family in the Empire,2 of the 4 candidates for Conservative leadership also are. Kevin Badenoch parents are from Nigeria and said there was good and bad in the empires History and has chosen to live in the country by choice. We left every country in empire is better shape when we left them than when we entered, many countries in Africa are relatively worse since independence.
