The thing at 16:38 is an immature wall guardian. It's the still underdeveloped form of the other screaming wall dudes you had fought before at that point in the game. But honestly how she survived the whole game just with a pistol with absolutely no armor, not even a plasma cutter just a goddamn space pistol. You would think a Necromorph would randomly sneak up on her and instantly kill her because she never bothers to wear a suit that has protection. But no... She literally run around a whole space Station unscaved without getting overwhelmed by a bunch of Necromorphs. Honestly that be a better bit of detail with Dead Space 1 if later in the game she literally wears actual armor and uses a more appropriate weapon against Necromorphs rather than using a pistol that is only good against normal living targets with normal anatomy. Truly this is a Stereotypical Generic Plot Twist Villain that has Plot Armor until the game gives the okay to remove it and make her a big idiot and die. SUCK TO BE YOU! :¬)
