Well done!!! A government must be afraid of its people, not the other way around.

It seems like you took sixty years to compose these sobering lyrics, George. The burning issue remains whether or not we've reached a "state of maturity" to make bipartisan decisions concerning environmental conservation, gender equality, food security, crime mitigation and a "national wellness policy".
@calypsomusicgeorgerampersad2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciate you taking the time to do so. Our journey of 60 years has been one of ups-and-downs - like any other country. Whether or not we reach what you aptly call a "state of maturity" depends first and foremost on us - both as individuals and as a people - as well as on the people we choose to represent us and to lead the nation forward. The political/racial divide has failed, so we must, as you say, make bipartisan decisions". I am confident that, if Jamaica, Barbados and Guyana are moving forward, we in T&T can do so too. We have the wherewithal - we just need to pull ourselves together and get serious. Wishing you a pleasant day. Stay strong, mih bredrin..!
