My Wal-Mart didn't have the quarters. I did find some material that was 72" by 44". What was your measurement for each strip. I know they were 1" wide, but not yhe length. Thank you for the awesome tutorial.

Hi Amber, can you tell me the size of your strips? I found some cloth scraps of my Mother’s and I want to make a rag wreath in honor of her. I’m just not sure what size and length to use. Love your videos and thank you for the encouragement to make wreaths.

I do know she cut them in 1" width...but not sure the length tho i would say 5" to 7" keep in mind it be folded in half so if you cut it at 6" lengtg than your ties will be 3" long. I would prob go 6in long. You can even cut them as wide as you want depending on how chunky or skinny you want the rags to look. Think good size width wise in my opinion is 1" up to 2" over that it may start look funny. I like the 1" or 1.5" look. Hope this helps

I love buying those fat quarters. I take them a make bowl cozy to put you bowl in the microwave to be able to take the bowl out of the microwave without burning yourself. I made some for people for Christmas.
