সিরিয়ায় বিদ্রোহীদের কাছে ক্ষমতা হস্তান্তরে রাজি হয়েছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোহাম্মদ গাজি জালালি। দেশটিতে অন্তর্বর্তী সরকার গঠনের দায়িত্ব দেয়া হয়েছে বিরোধী নেতা মুহাম্মদ আল-বশিরকে। রাজনৈতিক উপায়ে সিরিয়া সংকট সমাধানের আহ্বান জানিয়েছে জাতিসংঘের নিরাপত্তা পরিষদ। এর আগে, আসাদ সরকারের পতনে যুক্তরাষ্ট্র জড়িত নয় বলে দাবি করে ওয়াশিংটন।
Prime Minister Mohammad Ghazi Jalali has agreed to hand over power to the rebels in Syria. Opposition leader Muhammad al-Bashir has been given the responsibility of forming an interim government in the country. The United Nations Security Council has called for a political solution to the Syrian crisis. Earlier, Washington claimed that the United States was not involved in the fall of the Assad government.
