সীমিত ওষুধ দিয়েই চলছে রাজশাহী সিটি করপোরেশনের মশা নিধন কার্যক্রম। প্রতি বছর ১ হাজার লিটার কীটনাশক প্রয়োজন হলেও, এবছর বরাদ্দ পেয়েছে ৫শ লিটার। যার মধ্যে বর্তমানে মজুদ আছে ১'শ লিটার। একদিকে মশার উপদ্রবে অতিষ্ঠ নগরবাসী, অন্যদিকে বাড়ছে ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা। সিটি করপোরেশন বলছে, নতুন ওষুধ কেনার প্রক্রিয়া শুরু হয়েছে।
The mosquito control program of Rajshahi City Corporation is going on with limited drugs. Although 1000 liters of pesticides are required every year, this year 500 liters have been allocated. Of which there is currently 100 liters in stock. On the one hand, the city dwellers are suffering from mosquito infestation, on the other hand, the number of dengue cases is increasing. The City Corporation says that the process of purchasing new medicines has started.
