@@InderprasthaOrchards I'm basically located between 1600 - 2500 meters in Singalila forest range (near Sandakphu) in Darjeeling district...I'm not sure about the altitude to be honest, but this place is known to have grown apples variety in the past and still some local varieties exist but not in commercial level...I'm interested to grow apple for experience and see what varieties is suited here exactly but going for commercial level without any input and experience is a big gamble for me...also, I would love to help people here since many people can't break-even with local agricultural produce here anymore...I would be highly obliged for your inputs Sir, in this matter since I have no experience at all... Thank you for taking your time Sir!

I live near the border between Nepal and India just below Sandakpu and Singalila forest range...our place have been know to apple orchards 2-3 decades ago but now the knowledge is lost...I know the apple tree has specific chill requirement but then I've also come across some appple orchard successfully growing apple trees under minimal chill condition.
