Question, how did you get it to place within each box? Did you make each box on every page? Or is that part of the master? And if it's part of the master, how on earth do you place within those master boxes.

It was creating new text frames on place. It fills to the size of the margins automatically. If you have existing linked frames, it will fill. Or if you use primary text frames. -EG

Hi, your video is so helpful, but I have tried SEVERAL times to paste the text as you have showed, and still I get the red cross at the bottom. It will not autoflow. I have checked and yes, the curved arrow is thick and black. i am doing things right but it just wont go. I do recall trying to do it a few months back, and at that time it did work. Any suggestion? thanks so much x

Are you holding the shift key when you continue the story? Holding the shift key will add pages until the whole story has been flowed in. -EG

Tried to to do autoflowing text but it stucks after the middle of the procedure. I've watched your video but still nothing. At first, I thought it was because of the Word document. I've copied it on a new Word file but nothing changes. It worked when I tried to copy-paste instead of auto-flowing text, but all the footnotes disappeared. Any ideas?

Using a table would work but you’ll have to set it up. There is also a script called Calendar Wizard that can do the work for you. Good luck! -EG

Placeholder text is added using the Type menu (Type > Fill With Placeholder Text). But you can change that text by saving a file of plain text with the name “placeholder.txt” (no quotes). Place that file in the same folder as your InDesign application. -EG
