I really like this style and lesson. I'm thinking of using the concepts for an interactive resume - keeping it all on one page. Thank you for sharing!

I was wondering if you could talk about alternatives to exporting these interactive pdf's to where they keep their interactivity. It is kind of a pain because viewers basically have to have an adobe reader to utilize the functions created. Any alternative ideas so that anyone can just view it without going through extra hoops? Mine basically contain hyperlinks as well as buttons... would like to link it to make a button that plays youtube url's as well but have not found a way to do that either.

+1m3bShow A new alternative is to use the "Publish Online" button up on top of InDesign CC. The viewer can see all your animation and interactivity with just a browser. This is very new and I am still experimenting with it. Another alternative which I am just learning about is creating a Web App. Check out ajarproductions.com/. To embed a KZbin video, copy the embed code on KZbin and just paste in InDesign. It should make its own box. You can test it with Epub Interactive Preview.

One more question...I am trying to make the youtube video a button that plays once another button is rolled over. I have the youtube button hidden until triggered. I have the initiating button to make the video visible on rollover and disappear on roll off. For some reason the video will not actually start playing, it just shows a still frame. Any thoughts?
