Indesit IWC81283 Washing Machine Overview!

In this brand new video, I do a overview of my brand new washing machine that arrived on Tuesday.
This Indesit 8kg washing machine is perfect for those who live in a large household with lots of washing needing to be done. The washing machine has 16 different programmes to choose from which are listed on the compartment draw. Programmes can be chosen by using the dial in the middle which is labelled 1-16.
On the right hand side there are two smaller dials which includes the temperature which can be changed from cold to 90c. There is also a spin speed dial which can be set from drain only right up to 1200rpm which is the maximum speed.
There are a variety of extra options on the top which includes time saver, energy saver and extra rinse. There is also a delay timer which can be set for either 3, 6, 9 or 12 hours.
There are some very good programmes on this machine which includes a Rapid 20 wash which only takes 20 minutes to complete!
This washing machine is absolutely brilliant and is very easy and basic to use.
I will be doing a video of this in action using the Rapid 20 wash very soon.

I got the IWC 91082 and it has the same problem as this version of your Indesit… Programn times is sooooo long

I do agree with the programme times, especially number 4 which is cottons and that takes 4 hours. Normally I use the mix coloureds programme 2 with time saver or Rapid 20 number 8 to do smaller loads.

@@jbvisuals730 I use “EcoTime” button but the time difference is not much and uses less water to rinse than to wash. And his biggest problem is it hasn't got a short time program, where I need to use program 13 (light sport, 1 hour, and sometimes with 15 extra minutes by balancing in spins) and the EcoTime buttom does not work on that program. Sometimes I needed to use rinse and spin program (what has 2 rinses) for be able to wash on a shorter time, and still I need to wait about 40 minutes. A complete desaster.

Why do Indesit and hotpoint rince and Spin take 55 minutes!?

Maybe it's the new spin sequence on these new models. It does small spins, then stops and tumbles etc. I remember my parents having a Hotpoint WML540 which the rinse cycle only took 36 minutes back then.

My washing is coming out stale smelling. Why would this be? Brand new machine 🤔

Just make sure you do a maintenance wash every month to keep the drum clean so it doesn't smell bad.

Plastic machine I’ve owned one . No good. I don’t recommend indesit

It has been a good machine so far. Especially the Rapid 20 wash.
