This series has some new ideas (and old ideas) and does a really good job of including previous Terminator movies concepts without re-writing a single thing. Has it's slow moments towards the end, but overall worth a watch.

It's really not worth a watch -- it's a retread of Terminator 1 with a sloppy non-sensical story. They never bothered to explain WHY they picked Eiko to go back (in Terminator 1 Reece volunteered because they knew it was a one-way trip and the person was NOT going to survive; plus they needed someone who was spry and cunning and one of their best soldiers). Also in Terminator lore, the time displacement machine took a TON of power to operate and a lot of Skynet's processes had to shut down in order to operate it, which is why the humans attacked as they were using it, and also used that opportunity to send back Reece. In this show, anybody can just build a time machine out of spare parts in a bunker.

@@luisxfilipe It wasn' mentioned in any of the movies, you're right; it was mentioned in other media, including the games like Terminator Resistance, where you had to disable substations to lower Skynet's defences which allowed the resistance to get to the time displacement unit.
