1960- 100 500 1972- 250 750 (So basically they're saying ki 1960 me jab CI was 100 (base year is always 100) tab 500 salary tha. But now that its risen to 250, he's getting 750, but he should actually be getting more. So we need to find what he actually needs to get) 500/100 = 5 5*250= 1250 1250-700(what he's actually getting) =500 (b)
