Excellent commentary, after screening in a 20 foot section on the back porch, now, its time to order this unit. So many reviews, yet yours is positive and down to earth. thanx

A comment about your pool. I bought one in Phoenix, Arizona from Costco. The product information indicates a max. temperature which is less than Phoenix summer time temps. My first leaked. Costco replaced it & the second exploded out my yard & down the street. Costco quit selling them in Phoenix.:) I enjoyed the pool!

I think only one filter is being used. And that is the filter under the hot water entry port. Try removing the filters with the circulation running. It is very difficult to remove the filter under the hot water port and yet very easy to remove the other filter.

Mine is due to arrive on Tuesday and I appreciate you sharing your info! I had a Soft tub for a year and miss this terribly so I am looking forward to this tub! Many mane mentioned the error code 90 and have cleared this by unplugging the unite and activating the bubbles. I purchased enough lemons over the years and am not too worried about this investment. Heck, it's less than the cost of a week stay in a hotel with a hot tub filled with kids! So excited and thanks you for sharing!

Is it still running for you in 2020? I got an intex tub 3 years ago and it sprang an air leak in the first week. Thankfully Walmart gave me a full refund. I planned to exchange it but they were out of stock at the time. I decided today to give it another try and I ordered one of the newer updated models for 2020. Hopefully it'll have no issues this time.

No I ended up having to use the warranty and get a replacement, all in all between the original and replacement i think it lasted around a year.

i have same hot tub and live in Ontario, Canada which it gets pretty chilly at night here during 3 of the 4 seasons. i put 1 tablet in when i first put it up. Used the hot tub nightly and find 1 every week is good

Ours started losing air for no apparent reason. Now it only stays inflated for a few days. Can't find any apparent damage. Store we bought it from is no help at all. Looking to buy a different brand now.

i just purchased mine recieved yesterday inflated it and in less than 24 hours it lost a considerable amount of air. I am still waiting for the Amazon seller to get back with me but i am disappointed as i have mines inside my recreational room in my basement. i hope they right this $400 problem. I just glad i did not fill it with water yet because that would've been potentially a BIG mess

Is your Spa still working good? Amazon feedbacks say stop working 9 month, one year....right after the warranty expired....

I've had mine over a year now and I have had to replace everything except the cover but Intex was great and sent all the replacements no problem, it comes with a 1 year warranty so thankfully it all happened in the first year!

Umm... I think if people have an issue with the way you talk than they can just go watch something else 😅 cool review, make sure you do change your filters often about three times a month or after every four uses would be my recommendation to avoid the dreaded E90 code.

why all these chemicals? Isn't chlorine enough? I only use chlorine and a pH-minus-chemical for reducing the pH level

This is one of the worst spas ever!! We have had this one for 2 years. In 2 years replace the main motor 3 times. First time motor was still under warranty. What makes this one so bad is that the motor runs continuously 24 hours a day it never turns off. Where normal spas the main motor will run getting it up to temp and the cycles on and off. Very poor design but a great Video presentation of the Intex spa. Just ordered motor again but if it goes out I am done. Motor part number is 11885G $48.55 updated one. See if it is any better.

So Intex is selling a peace of garbage, most customers have problems and get sent the same repair parts with the same problems...E95 E90 never seen so many complains with same problems.

First one started losing air after two months. INTEX was no help. We loved it when it ran so (stupidly I bough another one. The new one lasted four month before the main air bladder blew out.and the seams in the spa separated. Also there were constant codes shutting down the motor. They sent another air unit but one of the knobs on the air inflater was broken and made it hard to inflate the spa. I'm going to try the Coleman spa next. Avoid Intex spa. It just doesn's last very long.
