good presentation Sundar. Govt couldnt keep the real interest rate positive keeping FD rates lower than the inflation rate. This is odd and people with surplus funds and need to invest riskfree had an avenue to invest through debt funds. And, this is locked now... Sad. Ideally, Govt should have allowed indexation on reinvestement scheme on FDs, instead they did othewise. tough life.

When FM is increasing STT on F&O trades, at the same time if the profit and loss is considered as business category instead of gambling it will be fair. (FM thinks all people investing in share market are gamblers and like to tax similar to liqueur and cigarettes category. Very sad😢 thinking)

When the debt market becoming lucrative. Govt introduced tax. I feel worse than oil producing companies, they get windfall tax when price of oil rises but it is temporary.

percentage wise 346 on 5000 is 6.92 percent so 6.92 percent of 100 is rupees 6.92 therefore on each hundred rupees you are making 6.92 rupees
