Yuvraj and later Raina were far better batsmen than Kaif.Kaif never scored even a 50 against Australia and his strike rate was also very low for a lower order batsman.

Kaif was a decent hitter and excellent strike rotator, extraordinary fielder... He was a perfect ODI player...

What a gem of a player Kaif was? IMO he was the pioneer of bringing athleticism and fitness to the Indian cricket team. The way he used to run between the wickets, patrol the boundaries take impossible catches and create run outs, in his prime he could have run circles around Virat Kohli of prime. An underrated cricketer who never got his due in Indian cricket.

Say u haven't seen it!!! 1999 WC sachin was Playing and Almost 48 overs 135 was his score and he could have easily completed 150 but he gave Dravid the strike by Rotating singles and made him complete his ton it was never expected Sachin Could have easily hit 150 if he was sent opening he would have easily scored Double ton in that Game itself !!!! Sharjah Semi finals also He could have stayed and hit a 150 but got out scoring for a victory !!!! When Sachin bowled and Took 3 wickets and brilliant catches in Dhaka vs Pakistan Javagal srinath without any kind of Shame just himself and Robin lifted Sachin and it was like Baap re !!!! Once during Man of the match ceremony Sachin went and told it's Saurav cup not Sahara cup in 1997 Toronto!!!! When Dravid lost 2007 WC he was in Tears and Anil Bhai came and consoled him !!!!!! Gauti gave his award to Virat once !!!! In Future Cup Sachin gave his man of the series to Yuvraj Singh!!!! Several such instances are there not just this alone!!!!
