Really impressed by the new E-Class. Very little to fault in terms of spec. Would have liked to see seat ventilation for our hot summers, but that aside, can't criticise it. Can't wait to drive it now!

Besides no seat ventilation in either the front row or the executive's seats at the back, it also has a flawed setting in air ventilation which opens up every 15 minutes and lets in dirty smells. You'll have to have a timer in your phone to remind you to reset the air ventilation every 14 minutes or so. Lousy setting that cannot be altered even though I've written to mercedes and gotten nowhere.

Hyundai Alcazar has extensible thigh support and deep recline and ventilated seats in the middle row. The only reason Mercs omit these features is because it can, because people buy a merc for the brand to show off. I own the latest E class and I do enjoy the brand, but on a hot day, my family and I don't find the drive cool or relaxing, which are of prime importance.
