Seperation from Bharat has proven to be a failure - Afghanistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka & the cherry - pakistan. I use the term Bharat as was defined in ancient dharmic shastras ie the lands if Bharat where those linked by the mythological king bharats progeny but beyond that it implied lands that practiced the rites , rituals & beliefs vs those who where of asura ( Persia) or mlecchas ( non believers) in dharmic precepts. So the modern borders are a western colonial concept that didn't take into account the tempo of the locals everywhere they just drew lines on maps & cut across communities etc. Bharat also back then 7000+ BCE didn't really need anything from outside, diamonds where mined in s.india , precious stones in the north , pearls , monsoons ensured fertile lands , cotton , sugar cane , coconuts , seafood it was abundant with food sources that allowed PPL to sit by the Ganges & contemplate spirituality while Europeans lived in caves ! So these modern divisions have not proven for the locals to benefit them & a khalistan of Indian Punjab will fare no better. @ partition pakistan got most of Punjab & sikhi historical places so it makes sense that khalistan is formed there or in Canada. Fact is the khalistani movement was reignited by a paki general as revenge for the 1971 defeat to India. & To cut India by a 1000 cuts. Today we see Sri Lanka in mass debt to China & Nepal is on the same path yet it's Bharat bailing them out , so given the growth & forecasts of Bharat it makes sense to remain as part of the union or in the case of Afghanistan - pursue peace with India that benefits regionally. This model success is seen in Bangladesh. Most Sikhs do not support any breakaway from Bharat because Sikhism is like Jainism , Buddhism - Indic dharmic beliefs that are all rooted in Sanathan dharma - from diet , ways to pray , aum , reincarnation, cremation & guru Nanak was born into a Hindu home , many gurus where Devi worshippers. If we look @ the state of Sikhs in pakistan we get a. Idea if what awaits for them esp. Sikh females. So going forward it would be wise for Canada to correct its past wrongs & kill off the khalistani elements that are really drug peddlers.

USA should ask Canadian authorities to co-ordinate in investigating how Nijjar got entry into Canada after 2-3 failed attempts and citizenship, even when he had designated cases against him involving illegal arms, illegal arms training, gang wars, travels to dubious countries, access to money he couldn't have had if working as a plumber. Trudeau is answerable to all of that. And Canada is answerable for destruction of evidence of Air India bombing in 1985 and sheltering of terrorists and their nexus activities (including drug and arms peddling, and arms training camps) from Canadian soil even till today.
