India gets its first advanced proton therapy equipment at Chennai!

The delivery and commencement of installation of the Cyclotron at the new Apollo Proton Cancer Centre on 5th May, 2017 is a major significant milestone for Apollo Hospitals Group. Watch Ms.Preetha Reddy, our Vice Chairperson inaugurate the installation. The Apollo Proton Cancer Center is scheduled to treat its first patient in September 2018.

Wow is it that costly? Didn't know. I went with my friend to support her in one of her chemotherapy sessions. The staff was really helpful though. Guided her every time throughout. Her doctor was Dr. Rakesh Jalali. Thanks to God everything turned out great in the end.
