This Independence day, Bal-Mukund students participated in a patriotic art workshop. They created handicrafts depicting India's Tri-Color from tissue paper and cardboard.
The saffron, white, and green stripes of the flag of India represent distinct values of the country. They stand for, respectively, courage and sacrifice, peace and truth, and faith and chivalry.
With this workshop, we hope the children imbibe the same qualities from an early age shaping their character and helping build a better nation.
The kids also Got a sneak peek into the freedom struggle of India and its heroes. How the historic freedom movement was fought. In the end, they all sang together the national anthem beautifully.
