India International Convention & Expo Centre, Dwarka is a flagship project of the Government of India with an aim to develop a world-class state-of-the-art Exhibition & Convention Facility in Sector-25, Dwarka, Delhi. Envisioned as a “World Class”, transit oriented, mixed use district, it would be one of the largest facility of its kind in India and Asia.

Well by 2022 first phase of both the projects will be completed. And since IICC its close to international airport the handling of vvips traffic will be much more easier. And parking of cars is also an issue but i think iicc can manage it better than pragati maidan . its point of view that IICC could handle such big event better than pragati maidan .

I have seen many mega infrastructure projects to be planned but the biggest issue is that the deadline keep on expanding further sonehow due to funding,lack of skilled labour. If you look at China if they keep our speed,then it is impossible for them to be 14 trillion economy.
