Most of the vande bharat run at only 130. 160 is only on one track. Far from 180 top speed. Also one thing to note is Japanese bullet train technology is very expensive. Most parts are expensive and can only be bought by them. Hence we need to develop ours, just like China did.

To be honest i think that investing on this expensive state of the art HSR infrastructure to run cheap and poorly finished train sets. See here I am not criticising our railways but i think we should take some time to incorporate the real HSR trainset technology just how we did in making this infrastructure Well let's see how govt carries it out, i hope they keep asthetics and end to end finishing in mind, all the best ministry of railways ✌️

They are building trains for elite wherein 75% of our population travels by General or second or unreserved class, anytime you check tickets are waiting, they should adress these issues first, fast trains for commoners, not charging 1000 for the fare that costed 200 for same route.
